Volunteers working together to build a prosperous city. Committee members and volunteers are always welcome!  To volunteer your help with any of the committees contact the Chamber office.

Ag Committee:  Promote awareness of the importance of agriculture to area economy, strengthen city/county ties in the area.

Annual Banquet:  Coordinate this event to inform the general membership of Chamber activities and provide a non-dues source of income for the Chamber.

Budget and Finance:  Oversee management of Chamber budget and assist the Chamber Director in fiscal planning.

Christmas Committee:  Develop and implement special activities and events for Christmas season. Work with NPPD, City of McCook, National Guard, and community members in planning development of Norris Park decorations.

Education Committee:  Promote business/education partnership to ensure a strong labor force in the area.  Work on the Education Mixer, Career Fairs, McCook Area Educator Award, and the New Teacher Breakfast.

Governmental Affairs:  Represent the interests of the Chamber in local, state, and national legislative and administrative issues. Active during Legislative session with weekly phone calls with Nebraska's Senator.  Host and coordinate the State Chamber Legislative fall meetings.

Heritage Days:  Enhance community pride and spirit by coordinating this event and work on the promotion of other projects.

Home Show:  Coordinate the annual home show event. This event is for public enjoyment and is a source of non-dues income for the Chamber.

Retail Unity:  Develop programs and promotions to strengthen the McCook retail trade base, reach new customers and coordinate major programs.

Ribbon Cutting:  Work with the Cordials as they welcome new businesses, congratulate a business on expansion, etc.

Website Committee:  The Chamber strives to continually enhance their website in an effort to provide information about the Chamber, our members and the McCook area to residents, future residents, and visitors. Responding to this challenge, this committee works on the development, implementation and maintenance of the Chamber website.
